Swift Magic 2-Year-Old Colt
Swift Magic is the most versatile 2YO we have ever bought. There is a long line of solid dirt and turf performances in the pedigree. He is sired by former distance champion Good Samaritan, a stakes winner on both turf and dirt. As a 2YO Good Samaritan won the Summer Stakes, a Grade 2 turf stakes at a mile. He followed this with a third place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Grade 1 Juvenile Turf for 2YOs, also at the mile distance. As a three year-old Good Samaritan captured the Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes on the dirt at Saratoga and followed with a second in the Grade 1 Clark Turf Handicap at Churchill Downs. He went on to win or place in eight graded stakes.
Swift Magic is a balanced and correct colt with well developed shoulders and hind quarter. His athletically portioned size indicates he’ll continue the family tradition of distance racing and gives us options for any surface, regardless of track conditions.
He is a registered New York bred and can take advantage of lucrative New York bred purse incentives.
